Climate Action Ilkley will start planting the Community Orchards in Ilkley and Ben Rhydding on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March and are appealing for help.
On Saturday the group have nine trees to plant at Ben Rhydding Playing Field (behind the Esso garage) starting at 9:30am. While on Sunday trees will be planted on East Holmes Field (opposite the Lido), again from 9.:30am onwards.
A spokesperson from the Climate Action Ilkley said: 'We would like to invite anyone who is interested to come and join us to help plant the trees on either or both days. Please bring a spade or fork if you are able to'
