Police officers in Ilkley issued multiple fixed penalty notices at the weekend to vehicles parked dangerously on Hangingstone Road by the Cow and Calf.
Rule 242 of the Highway code states: "You MUST NOT leave your vehicle or trailer in a dangerous position or where it causes any unnecessary obstruction of the road."
The WYP_Ilkley twitter account said: "Obstructing the path is dangerous for pedestrians and parking on the road where there is a solid white line is dangerous for road users!"
Bradford Council re-opened a number of its car parks last week, but the one at Cow and Calf remains closed for now.
