Ilkley road hump consultation shows plans for pedestrian crossing


Bradford Council have this week started a consultation to construct a road hump as part of planned safety measures for pedestrians crossing at the Railway Road and Brook Street junction in Ilkley.


The proposed road hump (raised crossing on the plan) would be 9 metres long, 8 metres wide and 75mm high, and along with reducing the width of the Railway Road junction, widening the footpaths and removing the taxi rank to improve sight line, is designed improve safety.
