Ilkley student Siena Anderson ‘Bethyki’ has released her new song.
The 19 year old singer songwriter started releasing songs in 2019, ‘Etc. Etc (Bored)’ is her third release, originally inspired during the Brexit period, its message and lyrics turn out to be very apt for lockdown Britain and how a lot of young people are I think feeling.
Back living at home in Ilkley at the moment, Bethyki is music student at Newcastle University and her music has been broadcast on BBC Introducing North East and her unreleased track 'Free Saturday?' received special commendation by the Young Songwriters Academy.
Bethyki’s first single in 2019 ‘Important’ will be familiar to some locally in Ilkley, it was to be one of the songs used in the the sadly postponed Joze School of Dance 2020 show.
