Police in Ilkley have issued two appeals following vans in the town being interfered with this week.
The first is to trace a masked man who was scared off by a barking dog while trying to break into a van on Valley Road, Ben Rhydding at 7.40pm on Thursday 6th June.
Police say: "A suspect was disturbed trying to break into a Peugeot Extra van on Valley Road.
"The suspect managed to gain entry to the van by unknown means but was scared off when the victim was alerted by his dog.
"The suspect has been described as a black male, approximately 20 to 25 years old, who was wearing a balaclava. He made off in a light blue vehicle."

Earlier this week, a Ford Transit van was interfered with on two occasions on Beverley Rise, Ilkley between 10pm on Sunday 2nd June and 7.20am on Monday 3rd June.
Police say: "On the first occasion the suspect/s used a bladed instrument causing a mark in the corner of the drivers window causing the window to excessively crack.
"On the second occasion the drivers door handle was tampered with and part of the mechanism was pulled out.
"No entry was gained and the suspect/s made off unseen."
