UPDATE: Strike action will now include ALL Saturdays during September

Northern Rail – six days of strikes planned

​

Staff at Northern Rail are to stage a series of fresh strikes over a long-running dispute over the role of guards on trains.  Originally 3 Saturdays were announced, this has now been increased to 6.

​

Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union will walk out for 24 hours on - 25 August, 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 September.

​

The revised timetable for 25 August shows the first train to Leeds will be 07:09 and Bradford Forster Sq 08:25 and the last train leaving Leeds to Ilkley will be at 17:33 and from Bradford 16:46.
