Workshops at All Saints’ Church in Ilkley will offer an introduction to digital art next month.
Hosted by Peter Falloon, the creative who put together the window designs in the new atrium of All Saints, the workshops will focus on the iconography and imagery within the church itself, and we will look to immortalise these details in the form of digital artworks that you can personalise and keep.
Pete is a ‘local boy’ who trained at Jacob Cramer College of Art & Design. His talent for digital and computed generated design has led to working for TV companies such as BBC & ITV in their internal design departments, creating logos and branding for UK based and international TV channels. In 2012 Pete set up his own company 'The Bear Creative’ - which allows him to work with a more diverse set of clients, these projects include album artwork for record labels, branding for large charities and most recently the Heritage Project at All Saints Church.
There are morning (9.30-12.30) and afternoon (1.30-4.40) workshops on Saturday 6 November, with 15 places available at each. Suitable for 14+, the cost is £5 or free to those in full time education. Anyone attending is asked to bring a smart phone or iPad/tablet, with prior arrangement, alternatives can be available for those without.
