Manorlands Christmas tree collection service

The Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice Christmas Tree collection service returns for 2021.

SORRY BOOKINGS HAVE NOW CLOSED - SLOTS ALL SOLD OUT!

For a donation to Manorlands, the Worth Valley Young Farmers Club will collected your tree, which will chipped and turned into biofuel thanks to Keighley Tree Services, who are kindly offering their services for free. The vans for the collection are also being provided free of charge again by our friends at Skipton Self Drive.

The collection covers postcodes BD13, BD15 to BD18, BD20 to BD23 and LS29.

A spokesperson for the charity said: "As usual the event supports the fantastic care that Sue Ryder provides both within the walls of Manorlands Hospice and out in the local community. 90% of net ticket fees will be passed onto Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice. Worth Valley YFC will retain the remaining costs to cover fuel and other event costs.

"There are various different tickets available, so that you can decide on your donation amount in support of Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, which is facing a £1.5 million deficit this financial year due to COVID-19. If you have multiple trees to collect, we ask that you adjust your donation accordingly.

Once booked, please make sure to put your tree outside your house before midnight on 4 January and leave it in position until we collect it."
