Children’s book release by Ilkley author

Ilkley author, Joe Varley, has released his first children’s book ‘Bruno's Big Day Out’.

Released on Amazon last week, the book follows Bruno, a sheepdog who lives on a farm and decided to go on an adventure. On his travels he came across a zoo, where he met some animals he had never seen before.

Joe told Ilkley Chat, "Bruno's Big Day Out is my debut children's book, and it'll be perfect for children up to six year's old. My publishers - the fantastic Fisher King Publishing - think a mini series would go down well, so watch this space for the next one.

Bruno's Big Day Out will appeal to all parents and teachers, and the illustrations were drawn by the talented Emily Vaughan. If any pre-schools or primary schools are interested in a signed copy, please get in touch."

Bruno is Joe’s fourth book, his debut novel, "Hard Up Down Under", a manuscript of his New Zealand adventures was published this summer.
