Ilkley business offers free water bottle refill, could you?

Julian at Milestone on Leeds Road is supporting a new ‘Refill’ initiative where businesses simply put a sticker in their window – alerting passers-by to the fact they’re welcome to come on in and fill up their water bottle – for free

​

We waste and discard thousands of plastic water bottles every year that get left as litter, not recycled and can pose a threat to wildlife – this scheme aims to reduce this and encourage people to stay hydrated.

​

Any business in the Ilkley area who would like to join Milestone offering a Refill, please email Julian julian@milestone.uk.net he is keen to arrange a meeting and get as many shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, banks and other businesses involved as possible.

For those using the service you can download the refill app, which will not only tell you where you can fill up, but also earn you points and when you reach 1000 points you’ll get a beautiful free ‘Refill’ stainless steel water bottle.
