Ilkley Manor House will welcome internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Sarah McQuaid for the second year in a row next month.
With her new recording and rehearsal studio nearing completion, Sarah McQuaid is once again out on the road currently touring in the USA, and will stop off in Ilkley on 26 November on a short UK tour, bringing her 2026 total to an impressive 122 concerts between mid-January and the end of November.
Sarah says: “It's been quite the marathon, but having put every penny I had plus a whole lot of pennies I didn't have into the studio, I basically took every gig I could get."
The demanding touring schedule has also provided an invaluable opportunity to develop new material ahead of recording her next album, adding: "On the plus side, it's been fantastic to get the opportunity to try out my new material on live audiences before I record it. Pretty much every song has changed and developed along the way, so that'll make our task a lot easier when we finally do get started on the next album."
Sarah's live performances are as varied as they are captivating. Moving effortlessly between a remarkable collection of instruments, she combines intricate musicianship with warm storytelling and an engaging connection with her audiences, occasionally inviting them to lend their own voices to the music.

Her original compositions span an impressive range of styles, from contemplative ballads and playful blues to atmospheric instrumentals. Alongside these, audiences can expect the occasional traditional folk song, evergreen classic or unexpected contemporary cover.
For Ilkley Manor House, Sarah's return is particularly welcome following her performance at the historic venue last year, Events and Exhibitions Manager, Andreea Chitan said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome her back to Ilkley Manor House for a second year. Our beautiful, intimate historic setting offers a unique opportunity for audiences to experience live music up close, and we look forward to another very special evening with such an extraordinary artist.”
The concert forms part of Ilkley Manor House's growing programme of cultural events, which brings together music, visual arts, heritage and creative experiences within one of Ilkley's most treasured historic buildings.
