The popular Addingham Beer Festival returns this weekend, bringing three sessions of beer, cider, spirits, food, live music and community entertainment to the village.

Taking place on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October, the festival promises another packed weekend for beer lovers and the wider Addingham community, while raising vital funds for local groups, charities and good causes.

This year’s festival features an impressive selection of 16 cask beers and 10 keg beers, alongside seven ciders, five gins, five rums and six wines. There will also be a range of low- and zero-alcohol options, including Guinness, cider and lager.

But there’s more to the festival than drinks. The Big Village Quiz takes place on Saturday afternoon from 1pm, while Saturday evening will feature live music from Charlie Aky.

Food will also be available throughout the weekend, with The Lord Addingham serving on Friday evening and The Swan providing food on Saturday evening.

The festival is divided into three sessions:

  • Friday evening: 6pm – 11.30pm

  • Saturday afternoon: 1pm – 5pm, including the Big Village Quiz

  • Saturday evening: 6pm – 11.30pm, with live music from Charlie Aky

Established in 2011, Addingham Beer Festival is a community fundraiser supporting local groups, charities and good causes.

Since the first festival, the event has raised just under £100,000, with funds being returned to the local community to support a wide range of organisations and worthwhile causes.

Tickets cost £15 per session and include entry, a festival glass, programme and two free pints. Additional drinks can be purchased using tokens, priced at £2.50 for a half pint.

Tickets are available from The Swan in Addingham, the village Co-op, or online at:

A spokesperson for Addingham Beer Festival said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone to the festival this weekend. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy some fantastic drinks, good food and live entertainment, but importantly, it’s also about raising money for local groups, charities and good causes.

“We’ve got a fantastic selection of drinks this year, the Big Village Quiz on Saturday afternoon and Charlie Aky playing on Saturday night, so there’s plenty to look forward to.

“Every ticket bought and every drink enjoyed helps us continue supporting organisations in our local community. The festival is run by volunteers and relies on the fantastic support we receive from the local community. We’re looking forward to another brilliant weekend in Addingham.”
