After a spell of closure, CTI 2000 Allotment Project is pleased to safely welcome members back.
CTI 2000 is a Churches Together in Ilkley (CTI) offshoot charity formed as a millenium project.
Susan Docherty is from the project: " Our allotment project for adults with additional needs is now open. We are a charity currently working with 6 adults with disabilities growing flowers, fruit and vegetables for better mental and physical health and improved wellbeing.
"Our members contribute to all gardening activities including running a fundraising plant stall to the public. We are looking for new volunteers to help support our members. You don't need to know about gardening, but if you would love helping others in an outdoor setting then this might be the opportunity for you! The project runs every Wednesday during term time at the allotment next to St John's Church, Wheatley Ave, Ben Rhydding."
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Susan via email: susandocherty72@gmail.com or drop in at the groups plant stall, Wednesdays (term time) 11am-3pm at St John's Church allotments.
