Many local groups and organisations have benefited from the Co-op Local Community fund over the years, including Ilkley Manor House, Friends of Ilkley Riverside Parks and Addingham Scouts.
The Co-op Local Community Fund supports projects across the UK that their members care about, in order to help communities come together, co-operate and have a positive impact on community wellbeing, physically and virtually.
Customers shop using a membership card and a 2p for every £1 they spend goes in the Local Community fund and this is shared by three good causes in the area.
Currently the three groups being supported are: The Clarke Foley Centre, Nell Bank and Moving On – Ilkley and District Good Neighbours.
