Bistrot Pierre in Ilkley will celebrate Beaujolais Day on Thursday 19 November 2026 with a special French menu and live music in its neighbouring Crescent Inn.

The menu will be available from 12pm during lunch and dinner, marking the annual French tradition of celebrating the release of the new Beaujolais harvest. A three-course meal and a glass of Beaujolais Nouveau will cost £39.95 per person.

Every year, on the third Thursday of November, the first wine of the new harvest is released across France to the cry of “Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé!”. Bars and bistros from Lyon to Paris mark the moment with food, wine and music, and this year Bistrot Pierre is bringing that celebration to Ilkley.

Live music from Jack O’Malley will follow at The Crescent Inn from 7pm.

Ben Nayler, Events and Sales Manager at Bistrot Pierre Ilkley, said: : “Beaujolais Day is a real celebration in France, a chance to gather round a table and toast the new harvest, and we wanted to share that with Ilkley.

"It’s a relaxed, sociable day with great French food, a glass of the new vintage and live music from Jack O’Malley to round off the evening. We can’t think of a better way to start the run-up to Christmas.”

Booking is recommended via Bistrot Pierre Ilkley or by emailing ilkleysales@pierre94.co.uk.
