Calendar from Ilkley company to support Yorkshire Air Ambulance

The Ilkley Creative company is thrilled to announce its first ever wall calendar where a donation for each one sold will be made to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity.

The calendar for 2024 features 12 images of the local area, including shots of Ilkley, Otley, Malham Cove, Knaresborough, Haworth and more taken by local photographer James Genchi.

James started the Ilkley Creative Company in May this year and, in this short time, has since sold hundreds of photographic prints to people and businesses all around the world.

James, 31, of Burley-in-Wharfedale, studied photography at Bradford College before going on to work as a digital designer. He had this to say about the calendar: “The support I have received so far for Ilkley Creative has been amazing, with many customers asking if I would be creating a calendar this year.

"This felt like the perfect way to share my photography, whilst raising funds for a local charity, supporting the lifesaving work the Yorkshire Air Ambulance do across the region every single day.”

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance, the good cause the company have chosen to support, is an independent charity providing a lifesaving rapid response emergency service to five million people across the whole of Yorkshire. To keep both of their air ambulance helicopters maintained and in the air, they need to raise £19,000 every single day. The swift medical interventions provided by the air ambulance crews have a major impact on a patient’s chance of survival and subsequent quality of life, so it is vital that this service is supported.
