Children’s Nearly New Sale to raise funds for you and children in Uganda

Families are invited to attend the St John’s Children’s Nearly New Sale on 17 October, offering an opportunity to pick up great-value children’s clothing and items while supporting children in Uganda.

As the summer season comes to an end and colder, wetter weather approaches, the sale will provide families with the chance to stock up on winter essentials, school uniform basics, Halloween costumes and other children’s items. Shoppers can also get an early start on their Christmas shopping.

The event also gives families an opportunity to clear out unwanted children’s items and make some extra money. Sellers can bring along suitable items, clearly labelled for sale, with proceeds split on a 50/50 basis.

Half of the proceeds will go to the seller, while the remaining half will support Give a Child a Hope, an Ilkley based charity helping children at the Revival School in Matugga, Uganda.

The organisers are encouraging local families to get involved by attending the sale, donating or selling unwanted items, and helping to support a worthwhile cause.
