The award-winning Christchurch Café on The Grove in Ilkley, which reopened last month after nearly 6 months closed, is increasing its opening hours.
Established as an Outreach Café 34 years ago, and over the years has expanded to become the success is it, looks slightly different now due to adhering to Covid-19 restrictions but still offers a warm and friendly welcome, and serves wholesome and nutritious food at reasonable prices
A spokesperson for the café said: “During lockdown we continued to offer outreach to our 49 volunteers sending out weekly newsletters, quizzes, letters and doing Zoom sessions.
“Our menu is reduced but still on offer are its very delicious homemade scones, vegetable casserole and homemade soup along with homemade crumble and custard and it currently has a special offer of £2.00 for a piece of cake or tray bake and a drink at certain times of the day.
“The Café is also part of the Ilkley Great Get Together scheme providing vouchers, lunches and food parcels for families in need of help during the school holidays.”
