Summer Pottery Classes
Stuck for something to do with your kids over the summer hols? Why not come along to Ghyll Royd School and have a go at some pottery. Art teacher, Keeley Smith is holding five, two hour classes every Thursday. Come and have fun and learn a new skill.

Summer School Our summer programme offers an exciting set of single workshops for both Adults and Young Artists. We are able to offer two hour sessions in Adult Life Drawing, Adult Visual Arts and full day sessions for Young Artists (ages 10 upwards).

Astral Acrobatics Summer Camp
Join us for a fun-filled gymnastic day! Our camps are designed for any gymnastic ability, whether you’ve taken part in gymnastics before, either with us or another club, or are a complete beginner. Gymnasts can expect to have an action-packed day, learning new gymnastic and acrobatic skills, going on all our exciting equipment (including our new inflatable rainbow trampoline wheel!), and playing games!
Please note gymnasts will need to bring their own packed lunch and drink. They can also bring a morning and afternoon snack.
Our summer camps will be at the following times and locations, with all classes aimed for children aged 6-13 years:

Ilkley Summer Holiday Forest School
Our Summer forest school sessions give children aged between 5 and 11 years the opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy nature with friends whilst building resilience, learning new skills and exploring on their own terms. Rhinos Netball Camps allow children of different ages and abilities a chance to play Netball for the first time or to improve current skills. Where possible Rhinos Netball Camps will be split into 2 age groups, however, in circumstances where camp numbers are lower than expected; age groups may be merged together on the day to ensure that the camp can still be provided, however, Rhinos Netball coaching staff will endeavour to tailor and differentiate the coaching for different ability's within these groups where possible.

Summer Holiday Forest Fun (2 Days)
Our Holiday Forest Fun session for 5-11 year olds, is a child-centred, outdoors session focussing on play, exploration & supported risk-taking, following the Forest School ethos. A Forest School programme will typically including games, craft activities, tool use, den-building and a campfire, depending upon the children's interests. Each day will run from 9am – 3pm, outside in Moorfield School's wonderful, wooded school grounds. Participants will need to bring a packed lunch (no nuts please!) & drinks bottle and to wear weather-appropriate clothing (including a coat) & sturdy footwear. There is a toilet which we are able to use and which does not require access to the main school building.
