Throughout the weeks we will mix it up as much as possible, with core activities such as Dodgeball, Free Play, Futsal, Fortnite(Nerf Fun), Arts and Crafts, Slip n Slide, Water Fights, Movie Friday, Tag Games and Hide n Seek encouraged, with periodic walks to Middleton Woods with your permission.

Local Forest School practitioners (including Moorfield's bushcraft teacher Ruth McBain) are back at the end of the holidays running two 2-day, child-led, outdoor, Forest School-style sessions of play, exploration & supported risk-taking, making the most of Moorfield School's wonderful, wooded grounds. These programmes will typically include games, tool use, craft activities, den-building & fires.

Activities available will include bouncy castles, one for under 5’s and one for over 5’s, swing ball, rounders, mini football, and a mini golf putting green plus giant snakes and ladders, giant connect four, space hoppers and lots more.

My Expedition Rocks are back to Ilkley Cow and Calf rocks this summer for more rock climbing adventures. A fantastic alternative for childcare, our experienced and qualified instructors will keep the kids entertained in a fun filled day of adventure. There’s plenty to get stuck in to, be that weaselling over and under rocks, roped climbing or even abseiling.

This year, we will be doing a fully costumed musical to be cast, rehearsed and performed in 5 days. On the Friday, we perform the musical to parents, live in the barn. It promises to be a week of incredible fun.
