Green-fingered residents can now sign up for Bradford Council’s 2020/21 Garden Waste collection service.
For an annual subscription of £40 - or only £35 if you sign up for the early bird discount between 4 May and the end of June 2020 – your garden waste will be collected from your home.
This is an easy way for you to get rid of your garden waste with 12 collections, one every four weeks between 1 June 2020 and 31 May, 2021. Extra bins will cost £17.50 per year if you sign up before 30 June 2020, after which the cost will be £20 per additional bin.
You can subscribe at any time during the year, however, the full subscription amount will be charged. To get the maximum number of collections, sign up as soon as you can, and you will also benefit from the early bird discount if you register before 30 June 2020.

There will be no collections after 28 December 2020, collections start again on 26 January 2021. The collection scheduled for Christmas Day will be collected on 28 December 2020.
If you have a smartphone or tablet, you can download the free app which will remind you when to put your bins out for collection. The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, just search for Bradford Council or for more information visit www.bradford.gov.uk/app. You can also receive an email reminder the day before if the council has your email address.
A spokesperson for Bradford Council said: "We are not currently offering the ability for customers to pay by Paypoint due to Covid-19 restrictions."
"If customers have difficulty paying for the Garden Waste Service please ask a relative or friend to do it on your behalf. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will advise when this payment method becomes available."
People can register and pay online at www.bradford.gov.uk or by calling 01274 431000 for new customers. Existing customers who want to renew their subscriptions should call 0345 1450071.
If you subscribed to the service last year you will be sent a renewal notice by email or post. Please don’t try to pay before 4 May. Cheques are no longer accepted.
Cllr Sarah Ferriby, Bradford Council’s Executive Member for Healthy People and Places, said: “This is a really great way to get rid of your garden waste and we hope many of our residents sign up."
