Enjoy an evening with Two Rivers Swing Band

Ilkley-based Two Rivers Swing Band will return to Clarke Foley Community Hub on Saturday 28 November for an entertaining evening of big band classics, swing and dancing.

The popular local band is delighted to be performing once again for its home audience, offering an evening of music spanning the golden age of swing through to the early rock ’n’ roll years.

The audience can look forward to a varied programme of big band favourites, featuring both lively instrumentals and sparkling vocal performances. The evening will also showcase some outstanding arrangements by the band’s musical director, local jazz trumpeter and arranger Trevor Vincent.

A spokesperson for the band said: "There is something for everyone in this varied programme. You can sit and enjoy the music or if you wish make full use of the dance floor.

"It's one of our favourite events, this is a chance for the band to play to our home audience in Ilkley and represents a real highlight of our performing year."

Doors open at 7.15pm, with a fully licensed bar available. The entertainment runs from 7.30pm until 10.30pm.

Tickets are priced at just £15 [standard price] and can be purchased in advance through the Two Rivers Swing Band website at www.tworiversbands.org.uk, from Clarke Foley Community Hub, or from The Grove Bookshop. Tickets will also be available on the door.
