Residents and visitors are invited to turn off their mobile phones and enjoy an endorphin boost with a selections of mindful crafts and mini projects in aid for the charity Mind at Mrs Duttons Wondrous Workshops.

The dedicated workshop on Church Street in Ilkley will be open on Sunday 14 June between 11am and 4pm for people of all ages to benefit from the calming joy of crafting.

Entry is free, but a minimum £5 donation is requested for each person participating in aid of Bradford District & Craven Mind, a local charity affiliated to the national mental health charity Mind.

A spokesperson for Mrs Duttons Wondrous Workshops said: "Raise your mood by being creative with like-minded people. Come along with family or friends, or make new friends while you are there.

"Tutor Kim Searle will be on hand to guide and inspire you in your choice of textile craft, including embroidery, rag rugging, weaving, and macramé. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced maker, you’ll have the opportunity to relax, get creative. Take home a new skill and a handmade mini project to be proud of.

We look forward to welcoming you to our crafting family!"

Your £5 [or more] donation can be made at the door on the day, or via the Just Giving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/mindful-crafting-at-mrs-duttons-wondrous-workshops-ilkley

The spokesperson added: "Thank you in advance for your support – every donation, no matter the size, will help Bradford District and Craven Mind continue their invaluable work within our community."
