Entries invited for Ilkley Civic Society Awards 2026

Entries and nominations are being invited for the Ilkley Civic Society [ICS] Design and Conservation Awards 2026.
Each year the society runs a town wide competition promoting good design and conservation of buildings and spaces.
The competition is divided into three sections:
Design – for new buildings or extensions
Conservation- for works to historic buildings or features.
Improvements – for smaller projects or environmental improvements
Each section will have both awards and commendations, and to qualify for this round, all work on projects needs to have been substantially complete by 31th July 2026.
A spokesperson for ICC said: “Should a project be successful; the applicant and architect/ builder would be invited to the presentation of certificates to be held in October 2026.
“Following the presentation, we seek publicity for the achievement of winners of certificates.”
Anyone interested in the society judging the exterior of any property is asked to contact the them.
Anyone can nominate work for consideration; members of the public, a community group, businesses, owners of property or the architect/developer.
