Exciting autumn programme at Ilkley Playhouse
Ilkley Playhouse has a packed autumn season ahead, offering audiences an exciting mix of comedy, drama and live music.
Noel Coward’s Private Lives is currently thrilling audiences with 1930s glamour, sharp wit and chaotic romance. The production runs until Saturday 19 September.
The second fringe production, North Country by Bradford writer Tajinder Singh Hayer, runs 24–26 September in the Wildman Studio. Set in a post-pandemic world, the play explores community, local history and imagined futures.
Local band Ten Fields make their Ilkley Playhouse debut on Friday 23 October, celebrating ten years of guitar-led music inspired by Crowded House, Fleetwood Mac and Jackson Browne.
Stagefright Comedy Club returns on Saturday 24 October, headlined by Canadian comedian Bobby Mair, alongside Justina Seselskaite, Jack Wood, Laurence Tuck and Mark Smith, with Anthony J Brown as compere.
November brings three musical highlights. Chris Bannister presents The Music of John Denver on Friday 13 November, followed by the Hall Brothers’ 35th anniversary show on Saturday 14 November. Fire and Rain return on Friday 20 November with their popular tribute to James Taylor.
