We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our Duke of Edinburgh Award group based at Queens Hall!

When? Monday evenings (group sessions) Occasional weekends (expeditions)

Who are we looking for? Anyone with a passion for helping young people grow in confidence, learn new skills, and achieve something amazing. No previous experience with DofE is needed—just a willingness to get involved!

Whether you can commit regularly or just help out occasionally, we’d love to hear from you.

MARIE CURIE COMPANION VOLUNTEERS

Throughout West Yorkshire & Craven The Companion Service supports people in West Yorkshire & Craven who have a terminal illness or life limiting condition. Would you be able to spare up to 3 hours per week supporting with companionship such as accompanying to appointments, making a meal with the client and/or listening and having a chat over a cup of tea. VOLUNTEERS FOR SOCIAL/SIGNPOSTING GROUPS FOR OLDER PEOPLE – ILKLEY GOOD NEIGHBOURS, ILKLEY

Volunteers needed for our Moving On Friendship Groups (social/signposting groups for older people). We have 2 groups on Thursday and Fridays and need volunteers at both between 1-3pm. Volunteering is on a rota to suit your availability.

Volunteers will help attendees feel welcome and relaxed, help with tea and coffee orders and help tidy up at the end of the session. You may also help at our excursions.

CLARKE FOLEY COMMUNITY HUB, ILKLEY

We have many flexible volunteering roles as we’re open 6 days a week. Would you like to help run classes and groups? Or perhaps help in the café or Lunch Club (Tue/Thu)? ILKLEY COMMUNITY TRANSPORT

Would you like to help your local community and join the friendly team at Ilkley Community Transport? We are a registered charity based in Ilkley and are always looking for CAR DRIVERS to provide lifts primarily to medical appointments for residents in the Ilkley and Addingham area who find public transport difficult to access due to age, illness or disability. Volunteers use their own cars and claim expenses for fuel at a pre-agreed rate. Drivers must be over 21, and have held a full licence for at least 2 years.
