Ilkley dementia awareness event at Clarke Foley

Local organisations are coming together at Clarke Foley on Saturday 31 October for a free day of dementia awareness, support and community connection.

Hosted alongside Home Instead Ilkley and The Rainbow Care Group – Wharfe Valley and North Bradford, the event will bring together local organisations, professionals and community groups to share information, advice and support available to people living with dementia, their families and carers.

Visitors can take part in a Dementia Friends session, hear from local community organisations, discover useful resources and support services, and enjoy refreshments while meeting others and asking questions.

Whether dementia is part of your family’s experience, you support someone affected by the condition, or you simply want to learn more, everyone is welcome.

The events is running between 11am and 2pm at the Clarke Foley Community Hub on Cunliffe Road.
