Ilkley Fire Station is holding an Open Day on Saturday 25th July 2026 from 10am to 3pm.
On the day there will be something for everyone to enjoy including a chance to see the brand new MAN 4x4 appliance up close, along with the Aerial Ladder Platform and Water Rescue Boat.
Local vendors including Alpkit will be on site and the Good Heating Company will offer free carbon monoxide alarms.
Teams from both West Yorkshire Police and Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association Mountain Rescue will also be in attendance at the station on Little Lane.
For anyone thinking about joining the fire service, there will also be an opportunity to chat with the Ilkley firefighters about becoming an On Call Firefighter and learning more about the role.
Plus they'll be a raffle with brilliant prizes donated by local businesses, with money raised in aid of the Fire Fighters Charity and Mountain Rescue.
Fun and games for all the family and entry is free.
