The Ilkley Literature Festival is delighted that Arts Council England will continue to invest in
it as one of their National Portfolio Organisations from 2023 to 2026.
Director Erica Morris, said: “This funding will enable us to deliver our plans to evolve the
Ilkley Literature Festival into a literature development agency that will help new writers in
Yorkshire, commission new work and support creative writing activities for young people.
"We thank the Arts Council for their continued support and look forward to working with
them and our other partners to celebrate the Ilkley Literature Festival’s 50th birthday in
2023 and our place in Bradford’s City of Culture in 2025.”
