Ilkley PCSO completes 170-Mile Police Unity Tour for COPS

Ilkley PCSO Joanne Barrett has completed an incredible 170-mile Police Unity Tour, raising funds for Care of Police Survivors (COPS).
Joanne, who has served the Ilkley community for more than 12 years, joined colleagues from West Yorkshire Police, including officers, PCSOs, police staff and volunteers, for the challenging cycle ride from Wakefield to the National Memorial Arboretum.
The tour concluded with Joanne attending the annual service of remembrance, honouring police officers and staff who have lost their lives on duty.
Following months of training, the ride was a significant personal challenge for Joanne, while helping to raise awareness and vital funds for COPS, which supports families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty.
The Police Unity Tour fundraising team has already beaten its £10,000 target, but donations are still welcome.
