A cheque for £1850 has been presented to Dementia UK volunteer Jean Broscombe by the team from Christchurch, Ilkley, which organised a Jigsaw Festival in October.

The donation means specialist Admiral Nurse support for even more families affected by all forms of dementia. To express the charity's thanks, a certificate of appreciation was presented to Christchurch. The Jigsaw Festival raised £5,788 which has been shared between Dementia UK and various local charities. Mia Senior, Regional Fundraiser said “Admiral Nurses make so much difference to the entire family of someone with dementia and we will continue fundraising until everyone has access to this life-changing support.” Hilda Hayo, CEO of Dementia UK and Chief Admiral Nurse, comments: “The invaluable support of Christchurch, Ilkley, will mean we can provide this vital, life-changing support to even more families who need it."
