Local History Hub to explore eastern area of The Grove

The next meeting of the Local History Hub is on Saturday March 25 and will explore the eastern area of The Grove.

A spokesperson for the Ilkley Civic Society said: "Leaving the Manor House, we shall walk through the south gate of the Roman fort to look at the back of Brook Street. We shall then go up to the line of the east-west Roman road and look at how the east end of that Roman road has developed into today's busy shopping street.

"Meet in Ilkley Manor House courtyard at 2.50pm for introduction, starting the walk at 3pm. The walk will last between an hour and an hour and half."
