Man allegedly exposed himself in Ben Rhydding



Local Neighbourhood Policing Officers in Ilkley are aware of two reports of a man allegedly exposing himself in the Ben Rhydding area of Ilkley.


The two incidents were reported to police on June 9 and June 13 on a path between Ben Rhydding Railway Station and St Johns Road.


Officers have stepped up both high visibility and plain clothed patrols in the Ben Rhydding area.

Inspector John Barker of Keighley Neighbourhood Policing team said: “Reports like this are very rare and we treat them extremely seriously.


“We have stepped up patrols in the area to attempt to identify a suspect in these offences, prevent further incidents and to provide reassurance to residents.


“Anyone who witnesses anything suspicious in the area is asked to report this by ringing 999.
