Diana Crawshaw has released a book featuring stories of life growing up in Ilkley in the post-war era.
Made in Ilkley, which is available from The Grove Bookshop in Ilkley as well as a Kindle e-book version, features stories of mischief nights and bonfire nights, Christmas at Broadbents, riding school and Sunday school and lamp-lit skating on Ilkley tarn.
Diana also recalls the arrival of Rock 'n' Roll in Ilkley in the 1950s and an encounter with Cliff Richard at the town's swimming pool.
