An established Ilkley aesthetics practitioner and registered nurse is opening a brand-new clinic this month, marking an exciting new chapter for her growing business, AW Aesthetics.

Amy Wilson, an Ilkley mother and registered nurse of 16 years, founded AW Aesthetics in 2018 and has built a loyal client base through safe, evidence-based treatments and exceptional patient care. With a Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice and qualifications as an independent prescriber, she is now in her eighth year of medical aesthetics.

For the past three years, Amy has worked from Beauty in Bloom on Cowpasture Road, but as the business expanded, she knew it was time for a bigger space.

Amy said: "As the business continued to grow, I found myself adding more equipment, treatments and services. I knew I needed a larger space and wanted the opportunity to build a team of skincare specialists around me. It was time to take the plunge and open my own clinic."

The new premises, formerly a local pharmacy, will feature three treatment rooms and offer a range of advanced medical-grade facial and body treatments. The expansion will also allow Amy to grow her team and introduce new procedures. A key addition will be NeoGen Plasma, an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment often described as a "surgical-free facelift",

Amy's approach focuses on enhancing natural beauty through subtle, skin-health-led treatments, she added: "I specialise in skin health and subtle treatments that make my patients look and feel better without anyone knowing they have had any obvious procedures."

The new clinic is expected to open in mid-September.
