Plans have been submitted to Bradford Council to convert the former TBS bank on Brook Street in Ilkley into retail units and apartments.
If planning is approved, the ground floor would form two retail units, with six two bedroom apartments and two one bedroom apartments on the first, second and third floors with a new rear stair core.
TSB closed its Ilkley branch in May 2021.
In another planning application, Barclays Bank, also on Brook Street which is due to close on 2 March 2022, has submitted plans to revert the external appearance back to it’s original condition.
The proposed works include the removal of existing individual lettering and projecting signage with existing masonry to be made good on completion. The existing ATM is to be removed with a new timber sash window to match the existing on completion. The night safe to be retained.
