The men’s Barclays Premier League Trophy and the women’s Super League trophy will stop off in Ilkley this month for residents to view.
To celebrate the Barclays banking hub continuing its service at the Clarke Foley Centre for a further year, the cups will be on display on Friday 24th March from 10am -5pm.
The event is open to all and during the day the café will be serving a selection of football themed cakes and treats as well as holding a fundraising raffle in support of the Clarke Foley Centre. There have been some fabulous prizes donated by local businesses, these include a Betty’s voucher, a floral arrangement from Cosmic Flowers, jewellery from Tennant & Darragh and vouchers from a range of Ilkley retailers.
Joe Short, Clarke Foley Business Manager, said: ‘‘This is such an exciting opportunity to host this unique and rare event that celebrates a further year of being the home of the Barclay’s hub for Ilkley and also showcases the Centre’s facilities and everything we do. We are keen to invite as many of our local residents as possible to come and experience what might be a once in a lifetime opportunity to have a photo with these famous trophies.’’
