A Prostate Cancer awareness information event will be taking place at Ilkley library on Thursday 11 August between 10am and 12 noon.
The aim of the information stand is to raise awareness of prostate cancer. a project which is being rolled out in 10 areas in England, Bradford being one of them.
A fully trained Volunteer Community Champion will be on hand to help with Overcoming the Barriers and Engaging with Prostate Cancer project - Cascade vital awareness information of prostate cancer sign and symptoms, risk factors and diagnostic pathways.
Free awareness leaflets for individuals to take home with them and a sign posting leaflet of the local prostate cancer support groups to those who are interested.
