Local digital radio station Rombalds Radio has announced it is going even more local from next month - with a new service dedicated to Ilkley and the surrounding villages.
Your Ilkley Radio will launch on Monday 8th July, while a separate radio station to cover Skipton - Your Skipton - takes over from Rombalds Radio the previous week.
Breakfast show presenter Nick Hancock says: “Every day you’ll hear all about the best of life in Ilkley as we showcase the town’s amazing local events, community groups, charities and superb range of local businesses. Plus in our first week on air we will have special event coverage from the Ilkley Half Marathon.”
Your Ilkley will be the first-ever fully focussed radio station for Ilkley and surrounding areas including Menston, Burley-in-Wharfedale and Addingham.
Nick added: “We are so excited for the launch next month. All the team here can’t wait to get started!
