An Intimate Evening With Peter Cox comes to King’s Hall, Ilkley, on Wednesday 30 September, giving fans the opportunity to hear the songs they know and discover the stories behind them.

Go West arrived on the charts like a comet, delivering a string of enduring pop hits that would go on to define the sound of an era. Now, lead singer Peter Cox is inviting audiences behind the music in an intimate live show celebrating an extraordinary four-decade career.

From the instantly recognisable “We Close Our Eyes” and “Call Me” to “Faithful” and the iconic “King of Wishful Thinking”, famously featured in the Julia Roberts film Pretty Woman, Cox has been at the heart of some of pop's most memorable moments.

Go West's success brought platinum and gold discs, a BRIT Award nomination and a recording career spanning more than four decades. But there's far more to the story than the hits.

In this intimate live show, Cox revisits the songs, moments and milestones that have shaped his career, sharing stories from life on the road and behind the scenes.

The evening will look back at Cox's involvement with the soundtrack to Sylvester Stallone's Rocky, Go West's double-platinum debut album, and his collaboration with Spandau Ballet's Tony Hadley. He'll also reflect on more recent career highlights, including a sold-out appearance at London's Palladium and performances at multiple Rewind Festival events.
