The title for the meeting is to be ‘Architecture, Infrastructure and Place’ and speakers will include:

- Richard Blundell RIBA the architect of the project that won our 2022 Conservation Award and director of ‘3xa Design’ based in Saltaire. He will speak about the work of his practice both conserving historic buildings and designing contemporary new build .

- Richard Threlfall, Ilkley resident and a Fellow of ICE (Institution of Civil engineers) will present on ‘Infrastructure and sustainability’. Richard has both national and international experience of working on bodies promoting sustainable infrastructure vital to our future and too often taken for granted

A spokesperson said: "As a new venture we are trying a different day and time for this meeting as winter is still with us and hope it will encourage more members and visitors to attend no booking necessary."

The meeting will commence at 2pm.
