The organisers of the Ilkley Christmas Teepees are hosting a popup restaurant.
From 4 to 26 July BAR Events UK are back with a popup summer restaurant experience ‘Dine Under Canvas’. Located adjacent to Ben Rhydding Sports Club on the Ilkley Grammar School fields, the stunning teepee structures will offer an open sided, socially distant dining concept.
The menu offers a range of delicious sharing platters and a tempting selection of drinks, which are included in the price throughout your 90 minute sitting, making it an over 18’s only event.
Dan Lakin from BAR Events UK, who have teamed up with The Ribble Valley group for the concept, explains the COVID-19 secure measures:
"Rigorous measures have been put in place to ensure social distancing guidelines and increased levels of cleanliness will be adhered to. The service style will enable zero contact between guests and staff, whilst single use table ware and digital menus will also minimise contact and possibilities of cross contamination. Thorough and regular cleaning processes will be in place and sanitising stations will be available to all guests throughout the venue."
Dan adds: "Bookings are essential and can be made online for two to eight guests via the Dine Under Canvas Facebook page, where menus can also be viewed. Current opening times are - Fridays and Saturdays 17:00 – 23:00 and Sundays 13:00 – 21:00. The cost is £60 per person, which includes all your food and drinks! "

Ben Rhydding Sport Club would like to point out this arrangement has been made between Ilkley Grammar School and Bar Events. Ben Rhydding Sports Club has no involvement, as not all sports have restarted and the clubhouse remains closed. The grounds are not yet open to visitors and the general public, which includes the car park.
