Following the huge success of Ilkley’s first Breakfast Rave in June, attracting more than 150 people, organisers are bringing it back to The Ticket Office on Friday 18 September between 7:30am and 8:30am.

The first rave raised almost £2,000 for charity and featured on BBC Look North!

The event will bring together local and London-based live DJs, alongside local live percussionists for an early-morning celebration in the heart of Ilkley, raising more funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and Dying To Climb.

Dying To Climb is the project of local mountaineer Shaunna Burke, who, having already conquered Mount Everest while living with Stage 4 cancer, is preparing to climb the remaining 13 mountains over 8,000 metres during the next four years as part of her ‘14 in 4’ project.

Due to the overwhelming success of the first event, September’s Breakfast Rave will be ticketed, with each £10 ticket including a coffee and bacon sandwich, subsidised by La Stazione and The Ticket Office. All profits from the event will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Organisers hope the event will once again bring together music lovers, commuters and the local community for a positive and memorable start to the day, while raising as much money as possible for two important causes.

Capacity is limited, so ravers are encouraging people to grab their tickets early, they are on sale at http://luma.com/Ilkley
