Community-spirited volunteers in the Ilkley area are being encouraged to sign up to help with the annual spring clean of the district.
People are being invited by Bradford Council to arrange local clean ups to help spruce up and litter-pick their local public spaces – including streets, parks, alleyways, open spaces and roadsides.
The clean ups are taking place in the period 17th March to 2nd April.
The spring cleans ensure that the district is ready for the sunnier weather and attractive to visitors.

In Ilkley you can call 01535 618008 or email keighleyareacoordinatorsoffice@bradford.gov.uk Bradford Council will supply tabards, litter pickers, gloves, bin bags, and a bag collection service and provide advice to help residents and communities to get involved in the campaign.
Cllr Sarah Ferriby, Portfolio Holder for Healthy People and Places, said: “This annual spring clean is a great boost for our neighbourhoods in both making places look attractive and tidy for spring, but also bringing people together doing something really positive and worthwhile. I hope people will support us by getting involved.”
