As the clocks go back this weekend the winter timetable starts on the weekend DalesBus network.

DalesBus 74 will continue running to Bolton Abbey, Burnsall and Grassington every Saturday throughout the winter.

The bus, operated by York & Country, leaves Ilkley Bus Station at 10.20am, 12.30pm and 3.50pm, and returns from Grassington National Park Centre at 11.30am, 2.50pm and 5pm, and from Bolton Abbey at 11.58am, 3.18pm and 5.28pm.

On Sundays most DalesBus services will continue running from Ilkley at the same times, including Cravenlink service 864 to Skipton and Malham; Cravenlink service 873 to Bolton Abbey and Skipton, and DalesBus service 874 to Bolton Abbey, Grassington, Kettlewell and Buckden.  The first bus back from Buckden to Ilkley on DalesBus 874 will however leave slightly earlier at 12.25pm from Buckden and 1pm from Grassington.

Sunday DalesBus services 875 and 876 to Upper Wharfedale, Aysgarth and Hawes have now finished for the winter, but there are no changes to any weekday bus services.

As part of the national initiative to reduce the cost of bus travel the maximum single fare on each service is still just £3, with under 19s travelling for £1.  Elderly and disabled bus passes are also valid.

Full details are available online at www.dalesbus.org and in new “Days Out by Bus from Ilkley and Upper Wharfedale” timetable leaflets for the winter season available now from the usual outlets, including Ilkley Visitor Information Centre and Ilkley Railway Station ticket office.  These leaflets also include full timetables for service 62 to Keighley and service 64 to Skipton.
