20,000 pints were downed at the Ilkley Beer Festival
Raising around £40,000 each year, the annual Ilkley Beer Festival was held on 7 and 8 February at the King’s Hall and Winter Garden in Ilkley with 2,500 attending.
A spokesperson for the organiser, Ilkley & District Round Table, said ‘We would like to thank all who attended the 2020 Beer Festival, your continued support is very much appreciated.’
The 13th Beer Festival involved 71 volunteers assisting the 21 round table members over the two days. As well as the beer, 86 bottles of wine were enjoyed, along with 384 gins, many glasses of real cider and 4,500 pies eaten.
90% of the beer was from Yorkshire breweries with 9 brewery bars and 1 dedicated London brewery bar which alone had 12 different beers.
The spokesperson added: ‘Thank you again to everyone in the local and wider community, again for your continued support. Watch out for the 2021 date.’
