Ilkley & District Good Neighbours annual over 90s party
A free programme of singing, music and afternoon tea for people, aged 90 & over, living in Addingham, Burley-in-Wharfedale, Ilkley & Menston.
On 30 September 2017 Ilkley & District Good Neighbours will once again be hosting a party for ladies and gentlemen aged 90 and over. The party will be held in the Clarke Foley Centre, Cunliffe Road, Ilkley from 2.00pm to 4.00pm & free transport can be provided on a first come, first served basis. Partners/escorts of those who are less mobile will also be very welcome.
In the company of H.M. Deputy Lord Lieutenant for West Yorkshire, the Lord Mayor of Bradford and the Chairman of Ilkley Parish Council, guests will enjoy a medley of popular 1940’s songs played by pianist Myra Johnson, together with a Vintage Saxophone performance by Steph Atkinson. Guests will be served afternoon tea by students from Ilkley Grammar School & the afternoon will end with community singing led by Shirley Britton and Michael Loftus.
