Ilkley Bar Shortlisted for Bradford Business Awards

Just six months after opening, Ilkley based drinks venue The Ticket Office has beaten off competition from rival businesses across the district to be shortlisted in this year’s Bradford Means Business Awards.

The independent bar, which opened in December 2017, has been shortlisted in the Retail, Leisure or Hospitality Business of The Year category.

The Ticket Office employs around fifteen staff and is the brainchild of business partners Adam Lewis, Paul Glendinning and Gordon Walker. The bar is managed by Lawrence Doyle, who has a long track record in managing high end hospitality businesses.

Mr. Doyle said, “We’re delighted to have reached the shortlist in the Bradford Means Business Awards and congratulate all our fellow finalists. We’re a small, independent business and are very proud to be part of Ilkley’s re-emerging night scene”.

The Ticket Office, which is located within Ilkley’s historic railway station complex, recently launched a food menu and an outdoor drinks and dining area.

The award winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony at the Aagrah Midpoint in Bradford on 5 July 2018.
