Yorkshire Brownie company marks 10th birthday with launch of an exciting new venue in the Dales and Ilkley relaunch

Love Brownies, launched in 2009 by husband and wife team Lee and Chantal Teal, has grown from a small online gifting business to a rapidly expanding chain of cafés and brownie shops across the UK.

Celebrating its tenth birthday in July, their latest venture sees them combine a new bakery, which supplies their increasing number of franchises, with a delightful café.  The Brownie Barn is the perfect stop off for walkers, cyclists and those holidaying in the idyllic heart of Yorkshire. It’s also an ideal location for a well-deserved treat and makes a great incentive if you’re putting in a lot of miles!

Based in Barden, close to Bolton Abbey, visitors will be able to enjoy breakfast, lunch, healthy smoothies, indulgent milkshakes, freshly roasted coffee and of course, their award-winning chocolate brownies in a variety of tempting flavours. All of the brownies are deliciously gluten-free, including our extensive vegan range.

In addition to the Brownie Barn, Love Brownies in Ilkley will relaunch on the same day following a refurbishment. With additional seating and an expanded menu, this was the first of the Love Brownies venues – opening in 2016. Co-founder and head baker Chantal Teal commented;

“The last ten years has simply flown by and it’s great to be celebrating our birthday with such an exciting next step in our journey.

The Barn has a sizeable kitchen which will enable us to make many more of our unique, hand-made brownies for our cafes and shops, as well as adding a great venue to such a beautiful area. We can’t wait to welcome you!”

Proud of their Yorkshire roots, all ingredients possible are sourced from Yorkshire suppliers - Yockenthwaite muesli and honey from Hive & Keeper are just two examples.

A range of gifts is available in all of their stores so you can treat yourself and spread a little happiness by picking up goodies for someone else!

Sharing a little bit of Yorkshire with the rest of the UK, you can also find Love Brownies in West Kirby near Liverpool and Angel in Islington. Couple this with openings in Southgate (North London), Harrogate and Stirling over the next month and you’ll soon be close to the perfect brownie wherever you go!

The Brownie Barn opens its doors on Saturday 13 July and will be open seven days a week. For more information on Love Brownies and their award-winning brownies visit www.lovebrownies.co.uk or follow lovebrowniesbakery on facebook and Instagram.
