Ilkley Arts to add colour at Nell Bank Open Weekend

Ilkley Arts and local artists are teaming up with Nell Bank, Outdoor Education Centre on Denton Road, Ilkley to add colour to its next Open Weekend on 21/22nd September.

The event coincides with the start of the UCI World cycle Championships in Yorkshire. Artists are using the bike theme and colours of the UCI rainbow jersey - red, black, green, yellow and blue, to create art installations. Children and families can follow the 5 colour trails to find them.

On site there will be a pop up gallery showcasing the contributing artists work. (Jo Tinker, Lucia Smith, Azu Fletcher, Chris Bailey, Kerry Stoker, Louise Hepplewhite Wood, Libby Jubb, Howard and Carol Gardiner)

The centre will be open from 10am to 3pm each day and tickets cost £3 per person with all money raised split between the two charities - Nell Bank Charitable Trust, and Ilkley Arts.
