STRIKE ACTION WILL REDUCED TRAIN SERVICES FROM ILKLEY ON MONDAY

Planned industrial action will affect Northern train services on Monday March 13, services will generally not start before 7am, winding down between 5pm and 7pm.

Union members from Northern are going on strike in a row over the future of guards on trains.  Northern has not confirmed plans, but is expecting to bring in new trains, as early as 2018, where conductors will no longer be essential, or required to open the doors.

The first train leaving Ilkley for Leeds is 07:10 and to Bradford 08:24, with the last return journey from Leeds at 17:32 and Bradford 16:43.
